IRA'S

Start planning for your retirement today by opening an IRA account at your Credit Union. With outstanding rates and funds that grow tax deferred year after year, an IRA account is an important part of your long-term savings portfolio. A Traditional IRA offers tax-deferred earnings and the possibility of tax deductible contributions. A Roth IRA is funded by non-deductible contributions but gives owners the opportunity for tax-free withdrawals. New in 1998. An Education IRA enables parents and others to deposit $500 per year to be used for educational purposes. Earnings grow tax-free if you meet the income requirements.

Save money for holiday spending or vacation splurging with our convenient Christmas Club and Vacation Club.  Rest at ease each year knowing money is saved for that special gift or dream vacation.  The funds in the Christmas Club are also conveniently transferred in November of each year into either a share or share draft account by request at time of set up.

ATM CARDS

Your Credit Union’s Mastercard ATM/Debit card lets you make cash withdrawals, transfer funds and make balance inquiries from your share or share draft (checking) account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

CREDIT LIFE/DISABILITY INSURANCE

For a low monthly fee added to your loan, credit life insurance pays the insured balance of your loan, up to the policy maximum, in the event of your death. This ensures your family will not be left with your loan debt. Ask your loan officer for details on your next visit.

GAP INSURANCE

Why pay $600 or more for Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) Insurance with a dealer or a $150 monthly rate with an insurance agency when you can pay either a one time fee of $200 or work the $200 into your loan.  You may be wondering what GAP Insurance is and how it will benefit you.  Gap Insurance will cover the balance  owed on your loan in the case that the vehicle is either stolen or totaled.  This will prevent you from being "upside" down on a vehicle loan.  For more information contact the Credit Union or request it when turning in the loan application.
